Albert Ritzberger

1853-1915

He was an Austrian painter of genre scenes and portraits of mostly women.

Born 20th May in Pfaffstadt, Albert Ritzberger studied under Ferdinand Laufberger at the college of arts and crafts in Vienna and went on to work in Salzburg and Linz.

His work has been held at Museums including Heidelberg, Neubrandenberg and Nottingham.
