Francois Henri Nazon

1821-1902

He was a French painter of landscapes and seascapes.

Nazon was born 25th December 1821 in Realmont

He was a student of Gleyre and Delaroche in France and specialized in oils.

His work was exhibited at the Paris Salons beginning in 1848, winning medals in 1864 and 1866. His paintings are described as being “full of poetic charm.” His pictures are held in a number of French museums and in numerous private collections.
