Franz Van Damme

He was born 19th July 1860 in Waesmunster and died in 1925 in Brussels.

Van Damme was a seascape and landscape painter who specialised in marine painting,

He received his training in Waesmunster at the Institute for Fine Arts. He then moved to Brussels where he believed his career could develop further.

He exposed in Paris making his debut at the Salon for French Artists in 1903.
