Paula Evrard

1878 – 1927

Paula Evrard was born in Charleroi in 1878 and died in Montignies-sur-Sambre in 1927.

She was a well known painter of flowers and landscapes which were depicted in vibrant, rich colours and is known for paintings of floral still life, interior scene, landscape and buildings.

Evrard was the daughter og f the Belgian artist A.J.Eymer. She was taught at the Brussels Academy by Herman Richir and Jean Delville.

Her work is illustrated in ‘The Dictionary of Flower Painters – Belgian and Dutch Artists born between 1750 and 1880’
