History:
In the last years of the reign of Louis XIV personal tastes were again changing. Design was moving away from the heaviness of the Baroque decoration to that of a lighter style. In the early 18th century the Louis XV styles blended into the Regency frame style which placed greater emphasis in the corners and centres. This design shows incised collars with a centred rope.
